Summer Hill ...Leadlight classes...Inner West

If you are interested in learning the art of leadlight , enquire about enrolling in one of Bob's classes. Beginners and advanced welcome. Come along, have fun, make friends, and learn a new skill.

Four terms are held each year, coinciding with standard school terms. The courses run for eight weeks, and are held on Monday evenings [beginners and advanced] from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, or Saturday afternoons [beginners and advanced] from 1.00 pm to 3.00pm, at the Summer Hill studio.

Beginners and advanced students mix together in the classroom, although individual tuition is given according to each student's skill level. If you are a beginner, you will usually start by learning to make a leadlight panel. In your second term you will be introduced to copper foil and three-dimensional objects including lamp shades, jewellery boxes and light catchers.

The tuition fee for an eight week course is $195 plus materials, which can be purchased from our retail store. Fees must be paid in full to secure a booking.
